From Burnout to Enlightenment: A Founder Journey

In the spring of my Series C, I had 412 unread Slack DMs and one chakra functioning at capacity. My therapist told me I was 'optimizing for collapse.' My executive coach told me I was 'pre-product-market-fit on myself.' They were both correct.

The exit came faster than any of us modeled. I had 90 days of vesting and a sudden, panoramic view of the rest of my life. I did what any aligned operator would do. I closed my laptop and went to sit on a rock in the Mojave for eleven months.

What I learned is that the founder's journey and the spiritual journey are the same shape: you raise, you scale, you surrender. The third one is the hardest. There are no decks for it.

I came back as my own LP. The carry vests over 108 years. I am okay with this timeline.
